The Marxist-Leninist Commonwealth

The tools belong to those who work with them

The State Tool Depots

The State equips every worker for their trade. At a State Tool Depot the Keeper of the State Tool Depot hands out the tools of your job, one set a plan period (a new trade's tools come with the next period), and replaces a broken tool once a day. Choose My tools in the keeper's dialog, or type /cw tools (a replacement: /cw tools replace) at the counter.

Log in to see what you can collect.

The tools of every trade

Unenchanted, and of iron where there is a choice. The tool marked replaced wears out: when it breaks, the depot replaces it once a day, on your word. Bottles, buckets, boats, carts and the wrench never break, so they are not replaced. The depot takes them from the common stores; what the stores lack, the State makes while the Commonwealth is being founded. The tools are lent free: for 21 days after, the State Bank does not credit you for delivering the same goods.

What the depot takes from the stores leaves the ledger as an allotment to the worker; it does not count against the worker's quota in kind. The tools are lent, never sold: the game marks them, and they cannot be delivered back.
